What need to know before travel
Dalanzadgad is 580 km from Ulaanbaatar, requiring an 8-hour drive on paved roads. While the flight takes just 1 hour, public group tours are conducted by car. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will pick you up from the airport.
Your two-day stay in a ger guesthouse will be a unique experience. Gers are heated by fire, with temperatures ranging from -15 to +15°C, similar to the nomadic lifestyle, so this is completely normal.
Please be mindful of the outdoor activities and choose your clothing carefully.
Meals are local and fresh, typically consisting of one large meal at a time. Meat is an important part of the winter diet, so if you have any dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance.
Most of our guides speak English, but we also offer French and Russian-speaking guides. All guides are well-prepared, highly skilled, and experienced.
Our drivers and cars are thoroughly inspected by experts, ensuring the best vehicles for the route. The drivers are experienced in navigating Mongolia’s vast, wild landscapes.
Camel riding lessons will be provided by a specialized coach.
