It’s a holiday for everyone and a peak travel time. Naadam features events such as archery, wrestling, and horse racing. Naadam 2nd day
Today, we continue our celebration of Naadam by attending the horse races. Horses hold a special significance in every Mongolian family, and many urban families even own horses for racing. The races feature different age categories. One of the most enjoyable aspects of Naadam is the huushuur, a popular dish that everyone looks forward to during the season. Afterward, we will journey to Tsonjin Boldog, the iconic statue of Genghis Khan, a monument honoring Mongolia’s legendary leader. Take a moment to marvel at the grandeur of this historic figure before we return to the ger camp.
